Grob coldrolling machines are robust and designed on the modular principle to ensure vibration damping. The rollerhead carrier is an over-dimensioned cast iron structure. The same applies to the rigid ribbed machine bed, which is fitted with integrally bonded, hardened and ground guideways on which the workpiece carriage is traversed. The traversing motion of the workpiece carriage is actuated via a hardened and ground recirculating roller spindle, with a particularly high carrying capacity. All the gearwheels, rollerhead bodies and slides are hardened and ground.
